Desert dunes and trails jagged with rocks are what you can expect at Superstition Mountain, and surfaces range from sand to mud. You can roam over 13,000 acres of rough land - just heed the signs. There are bombing ranges and limited use areas surrounding this open area.

Basic Directions
    From Interstate 8 East
  • Leave the Interstate at the Dunaway Road Exit North.
  • Drive east onto County Highway S80/Evan Hewes Highway
  • Drive northward onto onto Huff Road
  • Take a west onto Wheeler Road.
  • Continue on Wheeler Road until you reach a primitive camping area or the base of the Superstition Mountain.
    From Interstate 8 West
  • Leave the Interstate via the Drew Road Exit North
  • Take County Highway S80/Evan Hewes Highway west
  • li>Drive northward onto onto Huff Road
  • Take a west onto Wheeler Road.
  • Continue on Wheeler Road until you reach a primitive camping area or the base of the Superstition Mountain.
