Bakersfield - Biking

Bakersfield itself isn't much of a mountain biking destination per se, but it is relatively close to some serious track for the effort of a quick drive up into the Sierra Nevada.

Anybody Bleedin Yet (aka Coyote Canyon)	Intermediate	2 miles

Toads	Intermediate	1-2 miles

Towsley Canyon	Advanced	6 miles

Whiskey Flat Trail		Advanced	15 miles	3 - 4 hours

	If a ride by the Kern River and down the side of a mountain appeals to you (and oh does it appeal to many), try Whiskey Flat.
