Drive Highway 101 to San Rafael and leave the highway at the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard exit. Head 6 miles to Fairfax, then take a left on Pacheco Road. Turn right on Broadway and take the first left onto Bolinas Road. Continue for 7.8 miles to Alpine Lake, cross the dam, and park.
