Death Valley National Park - Scenic Drives

There are a wide variety of scenic drives in Death Valley National Park, from winding routes over mountain passes with overlooks of the heat-shimmering desert below, to unpaved roads to abandoned borax mines and interesting geologic features. Consult the map and newsletter given out at park entrance stations for current information on which routes are open and what types of vehicles are permitted on each one.
