Dumont Dunes OHV Area

These are dunes indeed, running low and rolling between steep volcanic rock on one side and the Amargorsa River on the other. Although the elevation variation is not as intense as it is elsewhere, even a total change of 500 feet can be swift and hairy when you're zooming down a sandscape. Bring lots of water here, of course.
