Rhyolite Ghost Town

This mine boom town failed after the financial panic of 1907. Today, you can explore the remains of the old bank and jail. The train depot and Bottle House are still complete buildings.

Take Highway 374 from Furnace Creek Visitor Center, toward Beatty. Look for a paved road heading left from Highway 374 - this will take you into the ghost town.
