Stockton is notable for how close it is to large attractions and larger cities, but this tree-filled community has attractions of its own. Children will love the Children's Museum and the fairy-tale Pixie Woods Amusement Park and Stockton's rich cultural side, with local chorales, symphony and lots of live theater, will entertain the whole family. The Haggin Museum preserves a different kind of cultural interest - a fine collection of 19th century art.
