The Historic Requa Inn, located in Klamath, California, is the ideal accommodation for your vacation in Redwood National Park and Del Norte County. The inn offers you a spectacular view, comfortable yet simple rooms, delicious home-cooked food, camaraderie with other guests, all in a facility that is carbon neutral. The Requa Inn is included in National Georgraphic Traveler magazine’s 2009 Stay List, a collection of 129 “Hotels We Love” in North America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Built as a 22-room hotel in 1914, the building is now a bed-and-breakfast country inn with 10 charming rooms, each with a private bath, with lots of room in common areas for reading and conversation. The inn is surrounded by the stunning scenery of the north California coast, in the center of Redwood National Park, on the Klamath River, just one mile from the ocean.
Our guests are hikers, fishermen, paddlers, cyclists, birders, beachcombers, and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds – from all over the world. The inn is also a haven for writers, photographers (the folks in the photo are writers and photographers at a retreat here), dreamers, planners, and those who simply want a peaceful getaway.
