Public Transit

Public Transportation around Marin County consists of a public bus service. Marin Transit contracts with other providers, including Golden Gate Transit, Marin Airporter, and others for local bus and para-transit services which provide transportation to all major destinations within Marin County.

Airports

The Marin County Airport, otherwise known as Gnoss Field, is located 2 miles northeast of Novato and consists of one runway and one heli-pad. As the airport is used mainly for general aviation, the San Francisco International Airport is a close drive away and is your best bet for commercial air travel.

Marin County sits directly across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Hwy 101 winds through the heart of the county connecting its towns and cities and also has the Pacific Coast Highway running along the beautiful coast of the county.
