Mt. Diablo is the highest mountain the Bay Area and features a large complex of trails suitable for mountain biking. From the top of Mt. Diablo, views of the surrounding Bay Area are quite vast, making this a popular trail with both local riders and visitors.
The Mt. Diablo trails are rolling with short sections of stout climbing and little technicality on the downhill. Riders should consider bringing a map of the area due to the complexity of options.
A day use fee is required to ride at Mt. Diablo.
