Description

Black Rock Creek Road to Quincy-La Porte Road, T22N. R9E, Section 15. The trail follows an old four wheel drive road, staying on a ridge top the entire 7.3 miles of this segment. The four wheel drive road is posted "Closed". Roads are crossed at several sections. Vegetation consists of red fir with patches of manzanita. Views to the east and north are spectacular with some distant hydraulic mining scars visible. All vehicles and bicycles are PROHIBITED on the Pacific Crest Trail.
