Governor's Mansion-Sacramento

Built in 1877 for Albert and Clemenza Gallatin, this Victorian-style Governor's Mansion has served the first family of California since 1903. Former residents of the mansion include former Chief Justice Earl Warren and his wife, Nina, along with former United States President, Ronald Reagan and his wife, Nancy. Visitors will find marble fireplaces and handcrafted details, like hinges and doorknobs. But they will also see how the mansion has changed through the years as each governor leaves his mark, from the Persian rugs of the Gilded Age to the 1950s console television. Visitors can also enjoy the spacious and lovely grounds.
