Sacramento - Boating

Sacramento is surrounded by lakes, Lake Berryessa being the most significant as a boating lake. The lakes of Eldorado National Forest are far lonelier places, often reached by hike rather than road, often high up in the mountains. These are not lakes you water ski, but lakes you row across. Another spot of water you can water-ski, besides Lake Berryessa, is the wide Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta.
