Trail climbs to a scenic overlook atop High Dome Mountain. Views of the surrounding peaks and the Pacific Ocean. There is a short spur trail to an old lookout site and a second spur trail to High Dome Meadow.

Basic Directions

Travel east 7.7 miles on Highway 199 from Gasquet to Patrick Creek Road (#316, first road to left after Patrick Creek Lodge). Travel 3.1 miles to an intersection and turn left onto the Old Gasquet Toll Road, #314. Drive for about 1/2 mile, cross the bridge and immediately turn right onto Holiday Road (#315). Trailhead is on right, about 1/10 of a mile up 315,parking on left. Other end of trail is accessed by continuing up Holiday road another 5.8 miles to upper trailhead (high clearance or four wheel drive advisable).
