From Interstate 5 at Yreka, this lake can be accessed via State Route 3 west to Greenview, CA. County Road 5G001, (known as North Kidder Lake Road) takes off west from Greenview and ends at a trailhead for this lake (about 10 miles from Greenview). From the trailhead to the lake, the distance is about three and one half miles.
