Sierra Nevada - Tourist Attractions / Parks

The Sierra Nevada range is home to two of California's more spectacular National Parks - Yosemite and Sequoia/King's Canyon - and close to others, like Death Valley National Park and Joshua Tree National Park. Lake Tahoe and the town of Mammoth Lakes also sit within the range, dwarfed by top notch ski resorts. Look for historic sites of note like the Watson Cabin Living Museum and old gold rush towns (where you can pan for lunch money) as you explore this mighty stretch of mountains.
