Sierra Nevada - Scenic Drives

Many roads wind up and through the Sierra Nevadas, many of them very scenic, even if not designated as such. Weave around Lake Tahoe or close by the Feather River or over pass after pass. Lakes are often close to the road, no matter what part of the mountains you explore, and national forests are everywhere throughout, from the Sierra National Forest to the Stanislaus National Forest and further. National Parks are often close to the peaks.
