Yosemite National Park - Scenic Drives

The routes running through and around Yosemite National Park are framed with waterfalls, granite domes and wildflowers. Often, scenic pull-outs double as trailheads, so expect to share parking with both hikers and sight-seers. Lee Vining Canyon Scenic Byway is particularly unique, moving through a landscape shaped by volcanoes and glaciers.




Lee Vining Canyon Scenic Byway 12 miles (19 km) Allow at least 30 minutes.


Route 140--Mariposa County 27 miles (43 km) 1 hour


Route 395--Mono County 20 miles (32 km) 20 minutes


Tioga Road/Big Oak Flat Road 64 miles (103 km) 1.5 hours to drive or three hours to visit places along the way.
