Climate
Fair sunny days, occasional winter rains, and dry summers characterize the climate of the Big Sur Coast. A hundred miles from the nearest big city, the stars shine with spectacular brightness on clear nights. From July to September, the coast’s famous fog hugs the shoreline and the highway in the mornings. Temperatures and weather here can be fickle, so dressing in layers is recommended.
