Leave west out of Adin on Co. Rd. No.87 and go approx. 10 miles. Turn north on Co. Rd. No.91 and go approx. 19 miles. Turn west on Forest Service Road No.56 for approx. 11 miles. Take Forest Service Road 42N23 south and go approx. 7 miles to the entrance for Lava Camp.

This is an isolated, rocky, and dry area for camping.
