Los Angeles - Whitewater Rafting

Los Angeles may not seem like a place to have rafting tour guides and outfitters, but Los Angeles is surprisingly close to the south end of the Kern River. Also, many outfitters based in Los Angeles guide rafting trips through the Sierra Nevadas. The American River is the most popular "outside" destination for L.A. rafters.
