Modesto - Skiing / Snowboarding

Skiing can easily be reached from Modesto within two hours. Just head east towards the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Ski Kirkwood, which has the highest base elevation of Northern California ski resorts, or ski Bear Valley and its famously tricky descents.
